Marc Neil Levin, 78, of Philadelphia, PA. Husband of the late Ann Levin, son of the late Nettie & Morris Levin. Loving father of Mindy, Sal, & Robert (Jamie) Levin. Devoted grandfather of Andrew, Alexandra, Emma, Max & Leo. Cherished brother of Joan (Alan) Citrenbaum & the late Carl Levin. A funeral service will be held at Goldstein’s Funeral Home, 310 2nd St Pike, Southampton, PA, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Roosevelt Cemetery. Memorial observance will be held at Mindy Levin's residence, Weds-Thurs. And Sat-Sun. At 6:30 PM. It was with great shock when I awoke this morning to see that my namesake Marc N. Levin had passed away. Marc wasn't high profile, but may have been the sweetest and most mellow guy in the class.
The first days of entering ninth grade at CHS carried a heavy dose of anxiety. That feeling began to fade in homeroom when the prof began to call attendance -- Levin, Levin, Levin, Levin and Levine. And one included another Marc (N.) Levin! I thought I had enrolled at Yeshiva, although I didn't know what that was. Marc and I shared a special relationship because of our names.
It is with great sadness to learn of Marc's passing. My deepest condolences to his family.
