Thanks for posting that obituary for us, Bill's CHS classmates, to read. I hardly knew Bill at Central, but his face is quite familiar, and what I can remember is a serious, reserved, focused, hardworking fellow, just as he looks in his class photo. It was interesting to read about Dickinson, his competitive swimming--I'm suffering our local pool being being closed!--your and Bill's children and grandchildren and so on, and wanted to say I'm sure we all note Bill's passing with sadness and that I'm sorry for your loss.

My best friend, at Central and beyond, is gone but not forgotten.
We lost contact until recent years. Bill was a winner in all that he tried.
With tears in my eyes, I mourn his passing. God be with you Bill.
